Art Roman was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and has been in the custom home building and furniture business from 1956 until 1975 when he moved to Miami, Florida. During the early 70’s he spent his spare time building furniture and cabinetry for his model homes. A few months after arriving in Miami he took the big step of turning his hobby into a custom furniture business and, with Sassy’s help, developed it into the successful business that it has become.
Sassy Roman was born in Boqueron, Puerto Rico and raised in New York City. In 1967 she moved to Miami, Florida where she studied office management and bookkeeping at Miami-Dade Community College. Those talents have been put to good use with our company since 1976 when she met and shortly thereafter, married Art Roman. She is a multi-faceted woman being a wife, mother, grandmother, office manager and business partner. |
